The brief
Monosend moves money between Nigeria and South Africa. They brought in Ola of Lagos as the face of the brand and needed campaign visuals that felt like him (confident, a bit playful) while making a cross-border fintech feel simple.
How I got there
- 1
Lead with the promise
"One app. Two countries. No borders, no delays." The headline does the selling in under two seconds, set huge and heavy so it reads on a phone feed.
- 2
Let Ola be Ola
He's in branded merch, pointing at the app in his hand. The pose says what a paragraph of copy can't: this is the thing, use it.
- 3
Purple everywhere
Monosend's purple runs through the background, the cap, the tee and the soft speech-bubble shape, so even a cropped repost is unmistakably theirs.
- 4
One playful note
"Swap. Send. Pay bills. Do more." sits on an angle with a hand-drawn arrow into the phone. It's the one bit of mischief on an otherwise very direct poster.
How it landed
A set of campaign assets the team could roll out across Instagram, X and TikTok, all built from the same system.
